still woes...

so, the indian consulate still doesn't like my internship info and told me it will take about a month to verify what they need to verify. sooo... it looks like i may not be leaving on friday. i'm at the mercy of strange diplomats and very very sad.

indian visa woes...

just an update... i was informed by the indian consulate in toronto today that my visa application may be denied pending receipt of additional documentation. the consulate wants to know that my host organisation is recognized by the indian government. my flight is booked for four days from now, so this is a scary development! i received the info i need today from my supervisor in bangalore, so i think it may work out after all! i'll know soon...
